Huge sinkhole opens up in Japanese city: 'I heard a loud boom'

huge sinkhole has opened in the centre of a Japanese city, prompting concern for commercial buildings perched precariously on its edge.
Photographs on social media showed the sinkhole forming in front of the main railway station in the south-western city of Fukuoka shortly after 5am.

By mid-morning an entire section of a main road had caved in and the 20 metre-wide hole had started to fill with water.
The road’s sudden collapse caused power cuts and gas leaks.

People working in nearby buildings, including a 7-Eleven store right on the edge of the sinkhole, were told to evacuate. There were no reports of injuries.
The city’s government said it believed the collapse was connected to construction work on a nearby underground train line.

“The electricity went off suddenly and I head a loud boom,” Kyodo news agency quoted a witness a witness as saying.
“I went outside and saw a huge hole.”
Another local worker said: “The road has collapsed near my office and now I can’t go to work because we’ve been told to evacuate.”

  • Some important decisions and some serious issues to share.
  • When you elected this government in 2014, world was talking about India being shaky economically. But India is now an economic star - this is what IMF and World Bank are saying.
  • Sab ka sarkaar, sab ka vikas - governance and progress for all is our motto. We are focused on empowerment of the poor. A series of schemes we have introduced all aim at this. This is a government for our farmers.
  • Corruption and black money are diseases rooted in this country, they are obstacles to our success.
  • We are among fastest-growing economies, but we also rank so high in global corruption rankings.
  • Terror strikes at the innocent. Who funds these terrorists? Across the border, our enemy uses fake currency and dodgy funds to sponsor terror - this has been proven repeatedly.

  • Our measures to check black money are paying off. A voluntary disclosure scheme for undeclared money saw a good response. A Special Investigating Team is making progress to identify who has sent money abroad.
  • 1.25 lakh crores of black money has been recovered.

  • We need to take a new solid step to fight black money. From now on, Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000

wwe goldberg vs brock lesnar 2016

The concerns are growing over how Goldberg will be received at the Survivor Series in Toronto.
WWE officials worry the matchup between Goldberg and Brock Lesnar in Canada will begin, and end badly for Goldberg. The reason? Lesnar is a Canada native and Goldberg is not. Adding to the concerns is that Bret Hart’s career ended at Goldberg’s hands.

Goldberg recently returned to the ring after nearly a decade off, but the wrestling legend has  already shaken off his wring rust after laying waste to Rusev and Paul Heyman on Raw.Even still, WWE officials worry he’ll get booed at the Survivor Series.

Goldberg, on the other hand, isn't worried about getting booed at all. In fact, if he does get booed, he'll just take it out on Lesnar.
"At the end of the day, I hope everybody has fun," Goldberg said. "And if I just so happen to get booed, then, I am surely not going to go out and end my life because of it. At the end of the day, it's other people's interpretation upon your act at that moment, so if I get booed, then, I'll take it out on Brock more so than I'm doing already.
And I believe that that's what we wanted to do to each other when we were booed the last time we met. And I think this time, the gloves, as we say, are off, so this is going to be a war."
On Monday Night Raw in Minnesota, Paul Heyman tried to get the crowd to chant “Goldberg,” but instead they chanted “Goldberg sucks and “Suplex City.” Even still the WWE is pushing fans to cheer for Goldberg in Toronto.
While Goldberg may or may not get booed in Toronto, his return to the ring has been largely met by a surprisingly positive crowd. WWE legend Ric Flair recently commented on Goldberg's recent appearances, noting how well he has done since he's been back.
“I’m not shocked by that all, Bill [Goldberg] was over. He was one of those characters they pounded into their minds for 3 or 4 years…I just texted Bill yesterday because I watched him on [ESPN] First Take, it’s hard to take that much time off and then of all people to get in the ring with for the first time is Brock, oh my god, [laughs] there ain’t nothing good about that! Bill’s a big strong guy, but I don’t think he’s ever taken a German suplex.”
How do you think the match between Goldberg and Lesnar will shake out on the Survivor Series?

List of WWE pay-per-view events WRESTLE MANIA 33

This is a list of WWE pay-per-view events, detailing all professional wrestling cards promoted on pay-per-view by WWE.
WWE has broadcast pay-per-views since the 1980s, when its classic "Big Four" events (Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Survivor Series) were first established. The company's PPV lineup expanded to a monthly basis in the mid-1990s, and reached its peak of sixteen shows a year in 2006 before returning to twelve in 2012. Pay-per-view shows are typically three hours in length, though budget priced events (e.g., In Your House) were shorter, and premium events such as WrestleMania can approach five hours. Since 2008, all WWE pay-per-views have been broadcast in high definition. Pay-per-view events are a significant part of the revenue stream for WWE.
